Rhinebeck, NY – May 7, 2012 - The Center for Healthy Aging at Northern Dutchess Hospital will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, May 31 from 2 – 6 pm. The event will also serve as a ribbon-cutting for the Center’s new location on the Northern Dutchess Hospital campus.
Dr. Jodi Friedman, a member of Health Quest Medical Practice and the Medical Director of the Center for Healthy Aging along with the Center’s social worker, Allison Gould, LCSW, and NDH staff members will be available to answer questions about medication, provide balance and fall prevention testing, nutritional counseling, stress reduction tips and more. The Center for Healthy Aging provides resources to patients and their families to help seniors live full, independent lives. The program is available for patients who are 65 years and older and their families. The Center provides inpatient, outpatient and transitional care for aging adults. After a full geriatric assessment, care is coordinated with the patient, caregivers and primary care providers.
