Visiting Hours and Policies

General visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Pediatrics and Maternity - Visiting hours are 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Open visitation for immediate family members. Overnight stay for one adult support person is available.

Intensive Care Units (ICU's) - 11 am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm. 2pm to 4pm is quiet hours
Gift Shop
 Our beautiful Gift Shop, located directly in the main lobby of the newly constructed Paul Rosenthal Pavilion, is a treat to visit. Volunteers welcome you to our fine collections of jewelry, cuddly stuffed animals, gifts for everyone, hand made items, snacks and soda, baby items, necessities and lovely floral arrangements at reasonable prices.
Flowers and gifts may be ordered by phone with your Visa or MasterCard. Our volunteers will cheerfully do "special delivery" to patient rooms. Please call (845) 871-3249 to order.
Guest Wireless Internet Access
As an extra amenity for our guests and patients, Northern Dutchess Hospital is pleased to offer free guest wireless internet access. This means that guests and patients will be able to access the internet on their personal laptop computers and PDAs inside the halls of the hospital.
There are no public access stations and patients will need to provide their own laptops. All patients will be presented with a disclaimer screen and will need to enter an email address to gain full access to the Internet - it's as easy as that!
