Rhinebeck, NY… Northern Dutchess Hospital is pleased to announce the NDH Auxiliary recently donated $35K against its pledge of $100K towards a new Wound Care Center slated to open late 2012. Patients will have access to the latest clinical wound treatments and hyperbaric therapy, as well as nutritional counseling, diabetic education, pain management, patient and caregiver counseling and more. The Center will partner with Diversified Clinical Services for this initiative.
This recent installment brings their total contribution to $70K. An additional $2,500 was also received for the purchase of new wheelchairs at the Hospital.
Funds are raised by the Auxiliary through bake sales, lunch events and thrift and gift shop sales. The group presented the check for $35K at their December meeting. If you are interested in joining the Auxiliary please call (845) 871-3470.
