Visiting Hours and Policies:

General visiting hours are 12 noon to 8 p.m. with some exceptions:

• Birthing Center - Open visitation for fathers; 12 noon to 8 p.m. for others.

• Intensive Care (ICU) - 10 minutes on the hour, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

• Mental Health Services - Weekdays 6 to 8pm. Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays 1 to 2:30pm and 6 to 8pm.

Guest Wireless Internet Access

As an extra amenity for its guests and patients, Putnam Hospital Center is pleased to announce it now provides free guest wireless internet access. This means that guests and patients will be able to access the internet on their personal laptop computers and PDAs inside the halls of the hospital.

This service is becoming more essential in our fast-paced world. Both guests and patients are demanding that they have access to information 24/7.

There are no other public access stations and patients will need to provide their own laptops. All patients will be presented with a disclaimer screen and will need to enter an email address to gain full access to the Internet - it's as easy as that.

Putnam Hospital Center Free Valet Parking Service

There is no longer a need to search for a parking space. Instead, patients and visitors can pull up to the kiosk near the 664 Stoneleigh Avenue building entrance on the hospital campus for free valet parking service.  Curbside Services, which provides the free valet parking weekdays, has added to its staff and vouchers are no longer required.  By expanding the free valet parking services, Putnam Hospital Center will also increase the overall number of parking spaces available by "stacking" or double parking cars in valet areas.

In addition to valet parking, the valet parking attendants will also help manage wheelchairs and other equipment, install infant car seats, perform minor car repairs such as jump-starting dead batteries, provide directions to destinations within the hospital and, in inclement weather, will stand ready with umbrellas.

All parking at the hospital is free but with the expanded free valet parking service, finding a parking space is not a problem
