Vassar Brothers Offers Diabetes Cooking and Wellness Class

Poughkeepsie, NY – March 12, 2012 – Vassar Brothers Medical Center is hosting a free lecture and cooking class for individuals interested in living well with diabetes. The class, made possible by a grant from the Vinny Zaccheo Memorial Fund of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, will feature information from a Registered Dietician on nutritional options as well as a live cooking demonstration with sample tasting.
The class will be held on Wednesday, April 4th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Joseph Tower Auditorium at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Registration is required. Reservations can be made by calling (845) 454-8500 ext 72116.
