Installing and using child safety seats may appear to be easy enough but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has estimated that close to 3 out of 4 parents do not properly use child restraints... and if you are one of them, that child safety seat may not protect your child the way it should.

Have a new baby on the way?

We encourage you to get your child safety seats purchased, checked and installed 4 weeks prior to your due date. This will ensure you are fully prepared for your new arrival and will not be delayed at the hospital during discharge. Technicians educate you on proper install, safety recommendations, current laws, check for recalls, make sure the seat is compatible with the vehicle manufacturer and explain the limits of your car seat.

Health Quest Community Education provides free car seat checks Friday nights at the Beekman Fire House and Sundays at Taconic Crossings. We also offer this service for special events.
